If you're interested in custom-made bamboo rods, just get in touch with me.
From the reel seat to the tip guide, we will choose the components together that suit you and your needs.
Depending on your casting preferences and the type of water, we will develop a blank that is specifically tailored to you.
In the end, you should have a unique rod that you’d want to take to bed with you.
Why one-piece?
Aside from the transport length, one-piece rods have only advantages for me.
The most important point is that the blank simply has no foreign object that interrupts the rod’s casting behavior.
This ensures continuous flexibility of the blank, which, in my opinion, is definitely noticeable when casting smoothly.
Additionally, one-piece rods are slightly lighter and generally a bit more affordable than rods with a nickel silver ferrule.
And last but not least, there’s simply less that can break.
Construction and materials
With a length between 165 cm and 200 cm, I build my rods specifically for smaller streams.
In terms of construction, I specialize in hexagonal blanks, where six identically planed strips are glued together to form a blank.
The materials used are Tonkin (Pseudosasa Anabilis) or Lồ Ô (Bambusa Procera) bamboo.
